Harlequin, merle, and black great dane puppies whelped on 6/21/13! This exceptional litter comes out of a registered harlequin sire and an UNregistered black dam. Sire stands 36" in at the shoulder and dam is 34" inches at the shoulder; both parents are family members, raised with children, cats and livestock on our farm.
This litter is made up of 2 harlequin females (xxxx), 1 merle female (xxxx) 2 black females(xxxx),1 harlequin male (xxxx), 1 merle male (xxxx). Puppies will go to their forever homes with shots and worming up to date, and natural ears unless otherwise requested. I have a veterinarian who is outstanding in the art of earcropping, and I will have them done for an additional $600 if requested by new owner. For the most successful ear crop, surgery should be done by 8-10 weeks of age, and research must be done to find a vet in your area who knows how to complete the taping process. Should you decide to purchase your puppy with cropped ears, payment of surgery and puppy must be made in full prior to procedure being done.
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of half will hold the puppy of your choice until 8 weeks of age, at which time your new little love can go home, and the adventure of great dane ownership can begin! Any puppy not paid for in full by 8 weeks will be offered to the next qualified buyer and any deposit will be forfeited.
Great danes are by far the best dog you'll ever love, and these puppies will be a wonderful addition to any family, but please, please consider everything that comes with loving a dane. They are called GREAT danes because they are huge...they grow until aproximately 2 years of age andreaching 36" and 175 pounds is almost a given. They will clear a coffee table with one exuberant wag of that happy tail, and resting their chins on the same counter you prepare dinner, is a piece of cake! A kiss from a great dane is a beautiful thing, but that extra large tongue can knock down a toddler, and ruin your make-up without any malicious intent.
